Beverly Burks

Beverly Burks is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in philanthropy, public relations, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Regional Director of Philanthropy and Public Relations at National Church Residences since March 2022 and as Mayor of the City of Clarkston since November 2020, Beverly has effectively overseen programs impacting over 60,000 residents in Fulton and DeKalb Counties. Previous roles include Community Engagement Director at The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority and Executive Director at the National Pan-Hellenic Council, where Beverly coordinated national health initiatives. Additionally, Beverly held various positions at IBM, contributing to significant improvements in project management and sales processes. Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Alabama State University.
