Kristen Fontanini

Lead Instructional Designer at National Church Residences

Kristen Fontanini has extensive experience in instructional design and project coordination. Kristen worked at National Church Residences from 2012 to the present, initially as a Project Coordinator and then as an Instructional Designer. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Lead Instructional Designer, where they oversee the curriculum team and develops high-quality courses for online, classroom, and hybrid learning environments. Prior to this, Kristen volunteered at Worthington Libraries in 2007 and completed a marketing internship at Toledo Museum of Art in 2006. Kristen also worked as a Writing Center Tutor at The University of Toledo from 2005 to 2006 and as a Secretary at Owens Community College Writing Center from 2002 to 2003.

Kristen Fontanini has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and General Writing from The University of Toledo, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Kristen later pursued a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Bowling Green State University Graduate College from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, they attended Sessions College and obtained an Advanced Certificate in Graphic Design. Kristen also has various certifications in subjects such as consulting skills, digital transformation, and graphic design. Some of their certifications were acquired from institutions like Lynda.com and The eLearning Guild.
