Phil Satterley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Phil worked at National CineMedia (NCM) from 2005 to 2018, first as a Video Editor and then as an Assistant Manager-Media Production. In these roles, they were responsible for formatting, converting, and encoding media for cinema playback devices, conducting quality checks, and documenting technical processes.
In 2019, Phil joined Metropolitan State University of Denver as an Affiliate Professor, teaching courses in Film, Music, and Video production.
Prior to that, they owned and operated Illage Videot Productions from 1997 to 2013. Phil also founded and served as the President of the Colorado Art Rock Society (CARS) from 1999 to 2006.
Additionally, Phil worked at Starz Entertainment as a QC Coordinator from 1998 to 2005.
Phil Satterley completed their high school education at Fairview High School from 1986 to 1988. Following high school, they attended Colorado State University Pueblo from 1989 to 1990, although they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time there. Phil then pursued higher education at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications Multi-Major between 1990 and 1994.
