Dory Lerner

K-12 Museum Educator at National Civil Rights Museum

Dory Lerner is currently working as a K-12 Museum Educator at the National Civil Rights Museum since September 2016. Prior to this, Dory worked as the Chief Teacher/Naturalist at Lichterman Nature Center since October 2010, where responsibilities included running all educational programming. Dory also has experience as the Green Life Coordinator at Girls Incorporated of Memphis and as the Manager of Public Programs at Memphis Pink Palace Museum. With a background in Museum Education (MA from Tufts University) and Sociology (BA from Willamette University), Dory has a passion for environmental education, wildlife interpretation, and fostering stewardship for the natural world.
