Janice Brown has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Janice started their career in 1999 as a Pension Assistant at Air Jamaica. Janice then moved on to Guardian Life Limited in 2001, where they worked as a Customer Service Specialist and later as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President Sales. In 2008, Janice joined National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) as a Finance Administrator, and eventually became a Project Lead in 2020. Additionally, they briefly served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) in 2017.

Janice Brown obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Technology, Jamaica in 2006. Janice later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, General from the same university, completing it in 2011. In 2018, Janice Brown received a certification in Certified Project Management from The University of the West Indies, Mona. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) in 2022 and Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2019.
