Catherine Dodd

Catherine Dodd is a Board Member at National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare and was previously the District Director for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Health & Human Services for the Office of Mayor Gavin Newsom City and County of San Francisco.

Catherine has been working in various positions in the public sector for over 20 years and has extensive experience in health and human services. In their previous role as District Director for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, they were responsible for overseeing the Speaker’s district office operations and constituent services.

As Deputy Chief of Staff for Health & Human Services for the Office of Mayor Gavin Newsom, they were responsible for coordinating mayoral health and human services initiatives, acting as liaison to various health and human services agencies, and overseeing the Department of Public Health.

Catherine Dodd has a Master of Science from UCSF School of Nursing in Community Health Administration, a PhD from University of California, San Francisco in Sociology, Health Policy, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from UCSF School of Nursing in Nursing.
