Colleen McGoff Dean is an experienced communication instructor and leader in the academic community, currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly and CCIG Representative at the National Communication Association since February 2017. With a teaching career spanning several decades, Colleen has been an instructor in communication studies at Whatcom Community College since 2010 and previously held positions at various colleges, including Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Chabot College, and Solano Community College. Colleen's expertise includes public speaking, interpersonal communication, and program review facilitation, along with extensive experience in workshop design and facilitation. Colleen holds a Master's Degree in Speech Communication and Education from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication from California State University, Fresno.
