Kwame Baah-Acheamfuor serves as the Head of Regulatory at the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) Ghana and is a Councillor for Ghana at the ITU Council, both roles occupied since December 2019. In addition, Kwame holds the position of Chairman for the Training Quality Assurance Committee at the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, where oversight on training standards is paramount. Since December 2006, experience at the National Communications Authority has included roles such as Deputy Director in Regulatory Administration and Monitoring and Compliance, along with serving as Principal Manager. Leadership is also exhibited through the Chairmanship of ITU-T Study Group 12 and the Committee on ITU Workprogramme and Organisation during the World Telecommunications Standardization Assembly in 2016. Previous experience includes working as a Radio Network Engineer at Ghana Telecom from 2004 to 2006. Kwame holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, earned in 1999.
