Sophia Patel currently serves as Vice President and Legislative Affairs Coordinator at the National Community Pharmacists Association, focusing on engaging students with policymakers to promote the role of community pharmacists. At Rutgers University, Sophia holds multiple leadership positions, including President Elect of the AMCP, where advocacy on legislative issues occurs, and Patient Care Director, driving initiatives that connect pharmaceutical care to patient well-being. Experience as a Pharmacy Technician at Bonhamtown Pharmacy includes prescription management and COVID-19 vaccine data entry. As a Strategy and Operations Intern for Global Pharmacovigilance at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies, contributions were made to improve operational processes.
