Engineering Capability Lead - High Volume Manufacture at National Composites Centre

Yatine Boodhoo serves as the Engineering Capability Lead for High Volume Manufacture at the National Composites Centre since September 2022, leading the development of manufacturing technologies for composite components. Previously, Yatine held the role of Advanced Technology Project Lead, focusing on hydrogen R&D, including designing and testing cryogenic composite tanks. Prior experience includes roles at Dyson as Lead Manufacturing Engineer, specializing in technology acquisition for consumer products, and at Rolls-Royce, where Yatine was the Automated Fibre Placement Process Owner, responsible for automating fibre placement on the UltraFan composite fan blade. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hull, obtained in 2013, and earlier studies at John Kennedy College.
