Heather Morton

Director, Financial Services, Technology And Communications at National Conference of State Legislatures

Heather Morton has extensive work experience in the field of policy research and analysis. From 2000 until present, they have worked for the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), where they have held multiple roles. As the Director of Financial Services, Technology and Communications, Heather conducts research on topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and privacy, providing oral and written testimony to legislative committees and producing various publications. Heather also staffs the NCSL Communications, Financial Services and Interstate Commerce Committee, and the Cybersecurity Task Force and Privacy Work Group.
