Brittney Ochira has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role as Associate Director of Training Operations at the National Conflict Resolution Center, they manage community and campus projects for the Training Institute. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at the same organization, where they developed strategic partnerships and provided training opportunities to community groups. Brittney also has experience as a Restorative Practice and Conflict Resolution Consultant, where they facilitated restorative circles, taught workshops on conflict resolution, and provided consultation on resolving conflicts. Additionally, they worked as a Perinatal Case Manager at Vista Hill, advocating for pregnant and parenting women in their addiction recovery process. In their role as an Advocacy Coordinator at the Alliance for African Assistance, they educated refugees about consumer rights and advocated for low-income and limited-English proficient clients. Brittney also served as the Global Village Programs Manager, overseeing various programs and managing staff. Brittney has further experience as a Language and Cultural Solutions Coordinator, overseeing operations of an interpretation and translation business. Brittney has also interned as a Community Justice Program Intern at the National Conflict Resolution Center and worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of San Diego Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. Additionally, they have worked as a Community Development Worker and an Intern at SCHAP, where they led community development initiatives, designed workshops, and assisted in curriculum development.

Brittney Ochira obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University in the years 2010 to 2012. Following this, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Peace and Justice Studies at the Kroc School, located at the University of San Diego, from 2016 to 2018.
