Jim Schaeffer

Jim Schaeffer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, security, and social services. Schaeffer has served as a Field Services Office Supervisor at the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 2001, providing technical assistance and mentoring while managing field offices in Owensboro and Bowling Green. Schaeffer's previous roles include Social Service Clinician and Supervisor, focusing on guardianship for individuals unable to make informed choices, and as a Security/Admissions Manager at the National Corvette Museum, overseeing security and customer safety. Schaeffer began a career in law enforcement with varying roles at Murray State University and Western Kentucky University and has experience as a Probation and Parole Officer, Commercial Vehicle Inspector, and has received formal education culminating in a Master of Arts from Western Kentucky University.
