Shirley Struchen is an experienced communication professional with a focus on religious programming and interfaith initiatives. Currently serving as the Coordinator for the Religion Communication Congress since August 2006, Shirley also holds the position of Executive Director for the Religion Communicators Council and the Religious Communicators Council. Additionally, Shirley is involved with the National Council of Churches USA as the Coordinator of Network Television Programming and has a background in television programming through roles with various faith-based organizations. Previous experience includes a Producer role at United Methodist Communications from 1981 to 2001. Shirley holds a Master of Science in Communication & Religious Studies from Canisius University and a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Oral Roberts University.
