Atarah Mark has worked in a variety of roles in the non-profit sector since 2012. Her career began as a Communications and Development Intern at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. Atarah then returned to the same organization in 2014 as a Temporary Communication and Development Associate. In 2015, Atarah interned at the University of Maryland Alumni Association - A. James Clark School of Engineering. Atarah then moved to Yeshivat Maharat in 2016, where they worked as an Operations Associate/Development Assistant. In this role, they managed two annual solicitation campaigns, analyzed larger campaigns, and implemented best practices for routinizing receipting of donors. Atarah's most recent role is as a Development Operations Associate at the National Council of Jewish Women, INC, where they process incoming gifts, generates donor acknowledgement letters, and maintains accurate constituent data in the EveryAction database.
Atarah Mark attended Montgomery College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Certificate in Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Atarah then went on to the University of Maryland, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from 2014 to 2016.
