Dan Kohl

Director of Stakeholder Engagement at National Council of Jewish Women

Dan Kohl has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2023, they became the Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the National Council of Jewish Women, INC. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they served as the Director of Government Relations at AmeriCorps and successfully secured funding from Congress. Dan worked as a Fundraising Consultant from 2019 to 2020 and as a Senior Advisor to the Host Committee for the 2020 Democratic National Convention. In 2017 and 2018, they ran for U.S. Congress in Wisconsin's 6th District and was a top fundraiser. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Advisor at Baker & Hostetler LLP, representing Major League Baseball and advising on legislative and political matters. Dan also served as the Vice President of Political Affairs at J Street from 2009 to 2012, overseeing fundraising efforts and managing regional directors.

Dan Kohl attended Brown University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Civilization. Following their undergraduate studies, they then attended the University of Wisconsin Law School, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
