Matt Sterzinger

Matt Sterzinger has extensive work experience in the IT field. Matt began their career as the Web Development Coordinator at Roman, Inc. in 1999 and worked there until 2005. Matt then joined Pasquinelli Management, LLC as the Manager of Application Development - Operations from 2005 to 2008. After that, Sterzinger served as the Associate Director of IT, Application Development, and Database Management at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) starting in 2008.

Matt Sterzinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In 2012, they pursued further education at DePaul University and obtained a Certificate in Project Management, completing the program in 2013. Aside from their formal education, Matt Sterzinger also holds a certification from Microsoft, specifically the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals," which they obtained in August 2021.

The purpose of NCSBN is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. NCSBN's programs and services include developing the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations, performing policy analysis and promoting uniformity in relationship to the regulation of nursing practice, disseminating data related to the licensure of nurses, conducting research pertinent to NCSBN's purpose, and serving as a forum for information exchange for members.
