Kimberly Fowler, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in health research and program management, currently serving as Vice President of the Technical Assistance and Research Center (TARC) at the National Council of Urban Indian Health since November 2011. In this role, Kimberly supports Urban Indian Health Programs to enhance health systems for American Indian and Alaska Native populations through technical assistance and research initiatives. Kimberly’s previous experience includes serving as Lead Health Educator at A Woman's Worth in Denver, where contributions focused on women's health research, and managing clinical redesign projects as a Program Analyst at Core Health, LLC. Additionally, Kimberly has coordinated emergency preparedness programs at ReStart DC, and conducted diabetes research as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell Biology from Yale University and a Certificate in Public Health from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
