Reza Azarderakhsh, Ph.D., is the Founder and President of PQSecure Technologies and a Member of the National Cryptologic Foundation. Since August 2016, Reza has served as a Professor and I-SENSE Fellow at Florida Atlantic University, focusing on research areas including Post-Quantum Cryptography, Modern Cryptographic Engineering, Secure Protocol Design, Side-Channel Attack Mitigations, and Formal Verifications. Reza teaches courses on Cryptographic Engineering, Embedded Medical Devices Security, and the Design and Attack of Secure Embedded Systems. Reza's previous roles include Founding Member at QED-C and Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I. Prior academic positions include Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Waterloo. Reza holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with a focus on Cryptographic Engineering from Western University and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Applied Cryptography from the University of Waterloo.
