Debra Wada

Debra Wada serves as a Board of Visitors Member at National Defense University and as a Board Member for the Military Child Education Coalition® since August 2021. Wada is the CEO and Founder of Senshi Ame Advisors, LLC, specializing in consulting and strategic engagement since January 2018, and holds the position of Executive Director at US Family Health Plan Alliance LLC since April 2020. Previously, Wada was the Vice Chair of the National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service until August 2020, and served as the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower & Reserve Affairs from October 2014 to January 2017, advising on personnel policies and human capital management. Wada spent nearly 15 years with the House Committee on Armed Services in various roles, including Professional Staff Member and Deputy Staff Director, focusing on military personnel policy and oversight. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Drake University and training at the U.S. Naval War College.
