Jim Butcher, PhD, ABPP, PCC, serves as an Executive Coach and Consulting Psychologist at the National Defense University since July 2019. Previously, Jim held positions including Director of Training for Tripler Army Medical Center's Clinical Psychology Internship Program from 2014 to 2019, Chief of Operations at the US Army Special Operations Command from 2012 to 2014, and Command Psychologist with the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) - US Army from 2009 to 2012. Jim earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Dakota between 2003 and 2006, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the same institution from 2001 to 2003, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma from 1997 to 2001. Further professional development included training at MentorCoach from 2019 to 2021.
