Dan Kovats

Dan Kovats is a seasoned political and community leader with extensive experience in training, campaign management, and event planning. Currently serving as a Trainer at the National Democratic Training Committee since December 2019, Dan also holds the position of Executive Director for the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association since November 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing operations, fundraising, and resource provision for county chairs. Previous roles encompass serving on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Coalition for Community Services, managing several political campaigns, and working for various governmental offices in outreach and event management capacities. Dan earned a BA in Political Studies from the University of Illinois Springfield and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from Triton College.
