Ahsan Akhlaq

Ahsan Akhlaq is a seasoned environmental specialist with extensive experience in environmental assessment and management. Currently serving as a Senior Environmentalist at National Development Consultants since May 2019, Ahsan has previously held positions as Senior Environmentalist at National Engineering Services Pakistan (Pvt) Limited (NESPAK) and worked on projects in Qatar and with The Urban Unit on the Punjab Cities Governance Improvement Project. Ahsan's expertise includes the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs), and conducting environmental monitoring. Ahsan’s career also includes roles at Enviro Consult and ECTECH Environmental Consultants, focusing on feasibility studies and environmental compliance monitoring. Ahsan holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of the Punjab and a Bachelor's degree from Forman Christian College.
