Waqas Sikandar is a seasoned Senior Engineer specializing in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) with extensive experience in significant projects in Pakistan. Currently with National Development Consultants since May 2015, Waqas is involved in the Neelum-Jhelum Hydroelectric Project (NJHEP), a major initiative with a capacity of 969 MW, focusing on the diversion of Neelum River water through a tunnel system to the Jhelum River. Prior to this role, Waqas served as a Health Safety Environment Officer at Pakistan Oil Field from March 2013 to January 2015, contributing to various projects, including the POL PariWali Wells. Waqas holds an M.Phil in Earth Sciences from the University of the Punjab, completed between 2011 and 2013.
