Katie Metz is an experienced professional in the field of financial resilience and disability inclusion. Currently serving as the Director of the Financial Resilience Center at the National Disability Institute since its launch in April 2020, Metz focuses on providing critical resources and guidance to individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions. Previously, as Manager of Financial Empowerment and Inclusion, Metz promoted understanding of compliance and led initiatives in asset development and financial education. In addition, Metz co-directs training at the National Disability Institute's Diversity & Inclusion Consultancy, offering expertise to businesses on disability-related employment practices. Earlier experience includes serving as the Disabled Services Manager and ADA Coordinator for the City of Jacksonville, where Metz advised on ADA compliance and managed various related programs. Metz holds a BA in Sociology from Saint Leo University.
