Domestic Violence Advocate at National Domestic Violence Hotline

Ashley Mackay possesses extensive experience in advocacy and educational support, currently serving as a Domestic Violence Advocate at the National Domestic Violence Hotline since April 2019. In this role, Ashley empowers survivors through trauma-informed advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, and education while mentoring new advocates. Previously, Ashley worked as a District Foreign Transcript Evaluator at Tarrant County College, assessing international transcripts for credit equivalencies, and as an Administrative Assistant, supporting various educational programs. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Site Coordinator at Fort Bend ISD and Marketing Intern at DiverseArts Culture Works, where Ashley managed social media engagement and event coordination. Ashley holds a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from St. Edward's University.
