Lexi Weintraub currently serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai within the Tisch Cancer Institute's Clinical Research Support Unit, a position held since June 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Oncology Research Assistant at Morsani College of Medicine since December 2021 and co-leading the American Medical Student Association as Co-President while also serving as Director of Medical Programs from September 2020 to May 2024. Lexi's research background includes a role as a Psychology Research Assistant at Lehigh University from August 2021 to May 2024, and earlier exposure in clinical settings with shadowing experiences in orthopedic surgery at Jacobi Medical Center and neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. Lexi holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University, where studies were completed in May 2024, and graduated from Irvington High School in 2020.

The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the leading non-profit organization in the United States advocating on behalf of and supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Reaching millions every year, we campaign for prevention, improved access to quality treatment, and increased research funding to better understand and treat eating disorders. We work with partners and volunteers to develop programs and tools to help everyone who seeks assistance.
