Science and Research

The Science and Research team at NEON is responsible for conducting cutting-edge ecological research and analyzing comprehensive data to monitor and understand changes in U.S. ecosystems. This multi-disciplinary team encompasses specialists in hydrology, remote sensing, soil ecology, and field science, who collaboratively generate scientific insights and ensure accurate data collection. The team also engages in science outreach to disseminate findings and support educational initiatives.
