Colleen Beaty

Colleen Beaty is a seasoned editor with extensive experience in content management and development across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Editor at the National Electrical Contractors Association since August 2020, Colleen oversees editorial processes for multiple print magazines and online content, while also hosting industry-focused webinars. Prior to this role, Colleen held several positions at the Wildlife Habitat Council from June 2006 to August 2020, including Manager of Content, where the focus was on creating educational materials related to corporate conservation, and Manager of Conservation Content & Partnerships, contributing to community engagement initiatives. Colleen's early career includes roles in regulatory affairs at McNeil Consumer Healthcare and environmental education with Riverbend Environmental Education Center. Colleen holds a BS in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Delaware and a Professional Certificate in Environmental Policy from Bard College.
