Teodor Duraliev

Teodor Duraliev currently serves as the Head of Project Execution Division at the National Electricity Company EAD (NEK EAD) since July 2023. Previously, Duraliev was Plant Manager at EL BAT from September 2021 to May 2023. Duraliev's extensive career at Aurubis from 2005 to 2021 encompassed multiple roles, including Head of Utilities & Facilities, where an energy strategy was developed to reduce costs and carbon emissions. Other positions at Aurubis included Head of Technical Services, Head of Engineering Department, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager, all contributing to significant investment projects and operational improvements. Before Aurubis, Duraliev worked at Ellatzite Med from 1990 to 2005, ultimately serving as Chief Energy Engineer, leading teams to enhance plant performance and implementing advanced control systems. Duraliev holds a Master's degree in Electronic and Microelectronic from the Technical University of Sofia, earned from 1985 to 1990.
