Karissa O'Brien

Karissa O'Brien is an experienced accountant with a diverse background in various industries including commercial, healthcare, and government. Currently serving as an Accountant at the National Elevator Industry Educational Program since May 2019, Karissa previously held positions as a Senior Accountant at Claris Vision and Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Prior experience includes serving as Audit Senior and Audit Associate at LGC+D, where audit procedures and compliance testing were performed, as well as supervising associates. Early career roles include a Tax Intern at Katz, Nannis + Solomon, P.C. and an Accounts Payable Student Intern at the Diocese of Providence. Karissa began professional development as a Clerical Associate at the Rhode Island College Career Development Center while earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rhode Island College in 2011.
