Amy Bird

Amy Bird is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in the voluntary and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as Head of Fundraising at the National Emergencies Trust since November 2021, Amy has successfully managed significant fundraising initiatives, including a rapid response to community needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include Fundraising Manager at The Village, where support was provided for vulnerable populations, and a Trustee/Director at KINGSTANDING REGENERATION TRUST, guiding strategic direction and communications. At Sport Birmingham from 2009 to 2020, Amy held several senior positions focused on wellbeing and partnership development, notably securing a substantial grant for mental health initiatives. Amy holds a BSc Hons in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham.
