Martin Tsang

Martin Tsang, PhD, is a Senior Program Officer at the National Endowment for the Humanities since November 2022. Prior to this role, Martin served as the Cuban Heritage Collection Librarian and Curator for Latin American Collections at the University of Miami from June 2015 to December 2022, where Martin also held the position of CLIR Postdoctoral Fellow in History and Area Studies. Additionally, Martin worked as a Research Assistant for the Syndemics Project from September 2013 to December 2022. Martin earned a PhD and MA in Global & Sociocultural Studies at Florida International University, where studies were completed from 2008 to 2014. Prior educational achievements include a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Queen Mary University of London. Martin's unique educational and professional background is rooted in cultural anthropology and includes experience in private banking.
