Ignacio Esteve

Ignacio joined National Energy as Non-Executive Director in June 2021. He brings over 20 years of experience in the global renewable energy sector growing companies from start-up to maturity stage. Ignacio is currently a leading green hydrogen expert in Spain and is co-developing hydrogen projects from concentrated solar power via a joint venture with Nasdaq-listed Fusion Fuel Welcome (Ticker: HTOO) with Fusion Fuel Spain. This is one of Spain’s leading green hydrogen technologies, developing green hydrogen generation plants and green hydrogen service stations. Separately, Ignacio via META Energy Development is leading the development of 300MW of solar greenfield projects in a joint venture with a large London-based infrastructure fund.

Ignacio brings a demonstrated track record of successful outcomes of growing and selling businesses. In 2005, Ignacio founded Ynfiniti Engineering Services, a Spanish company that constructed, commissioned, operated, and maintained an international 200MW wind portfolio.
