Chokri Ben Amor

Dr. Ben Amor is Vice President for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) as well as Executive Director for NESR. In his role, Mr. Ben Amor is responsible for all aspects of QHSE, with the purpose of building a Zero Injury and Lost Time mindset across the organization as well as positioning NESR to be the QHSE leader of the Oil & Gas Industry. Prior to this role, Mr. Ben Amor was the TAQA Executive Vice President for the Production Group where he was in-charge of the Coiled Tubing and Cementing Services operations and responsible for the strategic growth and M&A for the production portfolio. Previously, Mr. Ben Amor spent over 19 years with Schlumberger where he joined as a Field Engineer in 1996. During his time with Schlumberger, Mr. Ben Amor worked primarily in Operations, Technology and HSE in various assignments across Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Notably, Mr. Ben Amor led Schlumberger operations in the Arabian region covering Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the Partition Zone. Prior to that, Mr. Ben Amor led the Corporate HSE function as its Vice President for Schlumberger globally and before that he led the Schlumberger Operations in the Sultanate of Oman. Earlier, Mr. Ben Amor led the Technology development and deployment for Cementing globally for Schlumberger.

Mr. Ben Amor graduated in 1991 with an Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat, France. In 1996, Mr. Ben Amor completed his Masters & PhD in Material Science and Mechanical Engineering in Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, France.
