Hala Alabbassi

Hala Alabbassi has a diverse work experience in marketing, events management, and education. Hala currently works at NESR as the Events, Marketing, and Communications Lead, where they began in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at NESR starting in November 2021.

Before NESR, Hala worked at Big Idea Events Management as an Operations Manager from December 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they dealt with various stakeholders and managed event planning and execution.

Hala also served as an Assistant Lecturer at Damascus University from January 2018 to January 2020, where they developed course curriculum, delivered lectures, and mentored students in social and political marketing as well as public relations campaigns planning.

Hala's earlier experience includes working as a Creative Coordinator at Syriatel Mobile Telecom from March 2017 to December 2018, and as an Event Coordinator at Big Idea Events Management from February 2013 to December 2016.

Hala Alabbassi received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Damascus University. Hala then went on to pursue a Master's degree at Damascus University from 2016 to 2020.
