Scott Beautz

Scott Beautz is a seasoned engineer and project manager currently employed at the National Energy Technology Laboratory since December 2020. Previously, Scott served as a Managed Pressure Drilling Engineer at ADS Services LLC, overseeing onsite operations in the Delaware Basin for three months. Prior experience includes working nearly two years as a Drilling Engineer I at Marathon Oil Corporation, where Scott contributed to drilling efficiency and cost-saving projects in the Permian Drilling Department. Scott's engineering career began with internships, first at Marathon Oil Corporation focusing on optimization projects, then at Hilcorp, where valuable experience in oil and gas operations was gained. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree Cum Laude in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, obtained in 2018.
