Swarom Kanitkar

Swarom Kanitkar is a Research Scientist at Leidos since July 2020, focusing on the development and evaluation of catalysts for C1 conversion and reactive layer particles for sensor applications. Concurrently, Swarom also serves as a Workforce Development Research Scientist at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, contributing to the synthesis and evaluation of various materials and supporting the reaction engineering team. Previous experience includes a post-doc role developing reactive materials, extensive research on solid acid catalysts, and laboratory management at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Swarom holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University and has completed a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
