Dr. Anupam Kumar

Dr. Anupam Kumar is a highly experienced climate scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist specializing in Climate Change Impact at the National Environment Agency in Singapore since November 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Kumar was a Researcher in Meteorology at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore, contributing to solar forecasting initiatives. Earlier career positions include Senior Scientist in Mathematical Modelling at RMS, Scientist in Numerical Weather Prediction at the India Meteorological Department, and Design Engineer at the National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore. Dr. Kumar holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, a Master's degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, Remote Sensing, and Numerical Weather Prediction from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics from the Aeronautical Society of India.
