Brian Hess is an experienced program and operations manager currently serving at the National Environmental Health Association since May 2019. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Director of Member Programs at the Association of Academic Health Centers from April 2011 to April 2016, where management of domestic programs for an international healthcare association was a key responsibility. Brian's experience also includes managing a clinical continuing education program at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc., and overseeing networking programs for R&D professionals at the Industrial Research Institute. Earlier career contributions include coordinating logistics and programming for national conferences and education courses at SmithBucklin. Brian earned an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with studies at the University of East Anglia.
