Somara Mentley, MPH, is a Project Coordinator at the National Environmental Health Association since January 2023. Prior experience includes an internship at the Agency of Toxic Substance and Disease Registry from September 2021 to June 2022, where Somara developed a dataset prioritizing at-risk communities for negative air quality impacts and created educational training content for communities and health departments, along with program evaluation and development during high air pollutant seasons. Somara holds a Master’s of Public Health in Community Health from DePaul University (2020-2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Health from Allegheny College (2015-2019).
