Jim O'Connell

Jim O'Connell is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project management and financial analysis. Currently serving as a Project Manager at National Equity Fund, Inc. since March 2022, Jim is also working as a Financial Planning Analyst for the City of Chicago's Department of Housing since July 2018. Prior roles include Finance Manager for a Big Four Consulting Firm, Financial Analyst at CBRE and General Growth Properties, and Vendor Analyst at Tribune Company. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning & Policy with a focus on Economic Development from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
