Carey Paster has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Carey started their career as the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager at Carey's Inc., where they managed various operations and owned multiple franchises and companies. Carey then moved to Ryder Student Transportation, Inc. as the Senior Vice President, where they not only continued to manage the school transportation business but also took on additional responsibilities for the Ryder commercial business. During this time, they played a crucial role in the growth of the combined businesses through numerous acquisitions and the establishment of a world-class maintenance program. Later, they joined First Student as the CEO and President, leading the company's acquisition and integration of Laidlaw. Carey was eventually promoted to Chief Operating Officer and CEO. Following their tenure at First Student, Carey Paster joined First Group as the CEO/President, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Development. In this role, they focused on commercial development efforts, growth strategy, and identifying new business opportunities across North America. Carey also implemented a field tendering process that significantly improved customer retention. Currently, Carey Paster holds the position of Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at National Express Corporation.

Carey Paster holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
