Lea Wandling is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in training, education, and public safety. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief of Training at Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools since May 2022, Lea leads the Fire Academy Program's curriculum development and assessment methods. In parallel, Lea holds the position of Web-based Registration Coordinator for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, coordinating various national conferences and workshops. Previous roles include Dean and Associate Dean at Hocking College, where Lea focused on curriculum development and instruction in the Criminal Justice Program, as well as positions in the Athens County Municipal Court and O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, emphasizing safety, security, and program coordination. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Ohio University.
