National Film Festival for Talented Youth
Nikolas Grasso is an award-winning filmmaker and actor based in Europe, between Amsterdam and Milan.
His first short film 'Doina' won 10 awards at international film festivals including the Audience Award at NFFTY 2011.
He acted in the short film 'Life' directed by Mariana Preda, which was selected by NFFTY 2014.
In 2016 he was invited to give a speech at the UN in NYC where he showcased some extracts of his works.
His multi-awarded short film 'Tavola' (2020) talks about the Italian American community in NYC. It is set in a restaurant that first opened in 1893 and gained fame under the name 'Manganaro's Grosseria Italiana'.
Nikolas has done commercial work for numerous brands such as HP, the Financial Times, Sotheby's and many more.
He is currently working on a number of narrative and documentary projects in Europe.
