Jeff Dunkel Pe

Jeff Dunkel, PE, is an experienced Fire Protection Engineer currently with the National Fire Sprinkler Association since March 2021. Previously, Dunkel contributed as a Fire Protection Engineer at Kiewit from October 2013 to March 2021, focusing on calculations, specifications, and bid evaluation for power plants, while also developing company-wide guidelines for electrically hazardous areas. Prior to that, Dunkel worked as a Fire Protection Designer at Henderson Engineers, Inc. from May 2008 to September 2013, specializing in fire sprinkler design for diverse projects and clean agent systems. Dunkel's background also includes service as an SSgt in Emergency Management with the Oklahoma Air National Guard from August 2003 to August 2009, where responsibilities included managing emergency management programs and teaching classes on emergency response. Dunkel earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University between 2005 and 2008.
