Michael Joanis

Michael Joanis began their work experience as a Fire Protection Engineer at AHA Consulting Engineers in 1997, where they stayed until 2004. Michael then worked as an FPE at Commercial Construction Consulting from 2005 to 2006. Most recently, they served as the Chief Engineer at the National Fire Sprinkler Association starting in December 2019.

Michael Joanis attended the University of Maryland from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering.
