Kathy McCartan

Kathy McCartan is an experienced educator and financial professional with a diverse background in teaching English and managing financial operations. Currently serving as a Classroom Facilitator at the National Flight Academy since May 2022, Kathy instructs high school students in a STEM-focused aviation camp. As a self-employed CFO at McCartan Weeks Services LLC since May 2004, responsibilities include bookkeeping and taxation. Kathy has held various academic positions, including Assistant Professor of English at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Business English Instructor at Samsung Human Resources Development Center, and English Oral Communication Skills Instructor at International University of Japan. Kathy’s educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of South Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, and an Associate of Science in Accounting from Quincy College.
