Grant Nolasco

Data Scientist at National Funding

Grant Nolasco started their work experience as a Junior QA Developer at AerServ in July 2017. Grant then worked as a Baseball Analytics Intern for the UCSB ICA Baseball Team from June to November 2018. During the same time period, they also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UCSB Department of Statistics from September 2018 to April 2019. Grant further gained experience as a Data Intern at the Channel Islands YMCA from May 2018 to June 2019. Grant then took on the role of a Scientific Computing Intern at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) from November 2018 to June 2019. Grant worked as a Data Analyst at Near from July 2019 to April 2021 and later transitioned into the role of a Data Scientist at the same company from April 2021 to February 2023. Currently, Grant is employed as a Data Scientist at National Funding starting from 2023.

Grant Nolasco completed their Master of Science degree in Statistics from UC Irvine, which they pursued from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Science/Statistical Science from UC Santa Barbara, where they majored in Data Science and studied from 2015 to 2019.
