Karen Wuertz

Karen Wuertz has a diverse work experience in the finance and real estate industries. Karen started their career in 1983 as a Compliance Staff at the National Futures Association. Karen then worked as an Assistant to the CFO at the Chicago Stock Exchange from 1994 to 1996. Karen served as a Real Estate Consultant to ABN AMRO, where they developed and implemented a corporate real estate strategic plan for Chicago locations, leading to the construction of a 30-story administrative technology center. Karen managed the entire construction project and successfully delivered it on time and within budget. Karen currently holds the position of SVP, Strategy and Communications at the National Futures Association.

Karen Wuertz completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1977 to 1981. Karen then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a major in Finance and a minor in Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University between 1987 and 1992. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification in May 1981.
